Zebra Pens wanted a fun, memorable way to showcase their pen line—something that would cut through the noise of traditional product demos and bring personality to the brand. Our solution: the “Zen Zebra”, a fully CG mascot that embodies creativity, focus, and the calm confidence that comes from using the right tools.

From concept to final render, our team developed the character from scratch—designing, modeling, rigging, and animating the Zen Zebra across a series of playful vignettes. Each scene highlighted a different Zebra pen, blending product-centric storytelling with a light sense of humor and mindfulness.

The mascot became the bridge between practicality and personality—turning writing into an expressive, relatable moment rather than a static product shot. Our use of dynamic lighting, tactile materials, and subtle motion brought the pens and character to life with cinematic quality, while maintaining a friendly, accessible tone true to Zebra’s brand.

We collaborated closely with the Zebra creative team to ensure the mascot reflected their mission of balance between work and creativity. The result was a campaign that not only showcased the pen line but also gave the brand a recognizable personality with real staying power.
